La Moutière

Situated in the southern part of the Drôme region, near Grignan, La Moutière is an imposing XVIII century stone-built country estate, comprising main house surrounded by its terraced outbuildings.

The estate comprises 4 acres, bordered by a river, a stream and crossed by a canal with mill paddle-wheel.

Through its history the property has housed a silk-worm husking industry, a pottery, a tannery and became a family holiday house in 1964.

After aquisition, a long year of work was required to restore the buildings’ original charm.

Since July 2009, Moutière welcome to you all along the year.
